Dr. Jacobson is a board-certified OB-GYN, as well as a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, he completed his undergraduate studies at Brown University with degrees in biology, sociology and anthropology. He earned his medical degree from Stanford University. Dr. Jacobson completed his OB-GYN residency at Stanford University Health Services. He has been a practicing OB-GYN in the Denver community since 2001.

Dr. Jacobson chose obstetrics and gynecology because he enjoys working with women who are generally in tune with their bodies and are committed to their health. In this way, health becomes a collaboration between doctor and patient.

Dr. Jacobson also enjoys developing longstanding relationships with his patients. He likes providing care for acute, short-term or urgent situations, as well as delivering babies and performing complex, technologically cutting-edge surgeries with the da Vinci robotic surgery system.

“I love learning about their lives, families and work,” says Dr. Jacobson of his patients. “I like to learn what they’ve found that helps treat and manage their health issues, so I can share with my other patients.”

Incorporating a mindful approach, Dr. Jacobson is an excellent listener, with true interest in his patients’ issues and health. He carries this practice into their care, whether it’s with their pregnancy and delivery or routine annual gynecology care. Whenever possible, he calls and speaks to patients about their results and answers their questions.
