Jess Suhowatsky is a board-certified women’s health and adult-gerontology nurse practitioner (NP). She grew up in Colorado and is excited to serve the Denver community. Jess completed her undergraduate studies in biology at Mount Holyoke College and earned her nursing degree and a Master of Science in nursing (MSN) at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She has been practicing in both gynecologic and primary care settings since 2017.
Jess’ passion in reproductive health has inspired her efforts to create a gender-expansive and affirming setting during her years of practice. Her practice is guided by trauma-informed care and Health at Every Size philosophy. She aims to provide a welcoming space where all people are supported and celebrated in their identities.
Jess currently focuses on wellness/annual exams, birth control education and placement, menopausal symptom management, abnormal bleeding, and prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted infections including use of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) medication to prevent HIV. She loves teaching and learning with and from her patients.
When not at work, Jess can be found deep in the pages of a book, road-tripping to a national park or skiing in the Colorado mountains. She loves sharing in people’s joy and would be delighted to see photos of your pets, babies and plants.
